NIHR Trauma Management MedTech Co-operative reviews a new RSI TraumaTray pack

NIHR Trauma Management MedTech Co-operative supported our UKRI Trauma trays project in a formative Usability Study for rapid sequence induction (RSI) kit.

The study suggested a good level of demand and acceptance of the Trauma Trays RSI kit concept whilst yielding a range of insights for consideration into the ultimate design.

This study was conducted entirely virtually during the COVID19 pandemic and invited participants to review the concept based on their knowledge of Rainbow Trays and the Tamper Evident version. Using sample trays and video conferencing, participants gave honest, perceptive and critical reviews of how an RSI Trauma Tray could benefit their work in emergency anaesthesia.
